Policies

To ensure you enjoy your time at The Skin, Beauty & Brow Clinic and also get the most out your appointment, please take the time to read the policies.

Some of these will also be sent in your confirmation emails if they directly impcat your service.

Bookings and cancellations.

A 50% upfront payment or credit card will be used to secure your appointment. 24 hours' notice is required for changes to appointments and cancellations. Should 24 hours not be provided, a cancellation fee will apply. A fee of 30% will be required for changes made with up to 5 hours' notice, 50% up to 3 hours and 70% for no show and less than 1 hour notice. These terms are also outlined on your confirmation emails and at the time of booking online. If you need to change your appointment outside of the 24 hours, your payment will be applied as a credit to your account.

The Skin, Beauty & Brow Clinic reserves the right to deny bookings for clients who have a history of being unreliable, rude or unreasonable.

Patch Tests & Consultations.

Every service has it's own expected outcomes and associated risks. Clients are encouraged to arrange consultations and patch tests where applicable. A test patch is a guide only and is used to indicate possible side affects or allergic reactions, however is not always 100% accurate. Clients should consider all services before booking including possible risks, side effects, contraindications and possible outcomes. This is the clients responsibility and they accept all associated risks when booking and agree that no legal action will be taken against The Skin, Beauty & Brow Clinic, Distinktive Boutique or any of their associates following their procedure.

All light based services such as laser and IPL are required by law to complete a test patch 7 days before commencing their first treatment, regardless if you have had the same treatment elsewhere.

 

Other services that contain allergen risks such as tinting and lash lifts are optional but strongly recommended. If you refuse a test patch, you accept all responsibility any unwanted side affects.

If you have reason to believe that you may be running late or need to change your appointment, please notify as soon as possible.

The Skin, Beauty & Brow Clinic has a 24 hour cancellation policy.

A 50% appointment holding fee shall be taken for all appointments which may be lost if you fail to provide appropriate notice for changes to your appointment.
